There are 2 ways resources are stored on SmartDublin:

• new resources are added (ie. a separate resource for a new period of time for example)
• a single resource is updated with new information

This guide covers Adding a resource and Updating a resource.

• Before you upload your resource, please remove any summary lines, eg. delete lines 6 and 11 below:

• Go to https://data.smartdublin.ie/. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and login:

• Search for your dataset, eg. glassco, and select the appropriate result:

• Click on the Manage link, from there click on the Resources tab:

and click on Add New Resource

• Use Upload button to select the new file, then update Name, Description and Format fields:

Click on the Add button at the bottom of the page

• It is better to have the newest resource at the top of the list: Click on the Manage link then the Resources tab again, then select Reorder resources.

You can use the handle to move the new resource to the top of the list, then use the Save Order button

• Navigate to https://data.smartdublin.ie/. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and login:

• Search for your dataset, eg. Mixed dry recyclables, and select the appropriate result.

• Click on the Manage link:

• Update the Date Range field and click on Update Dataset at the bottom of page
• Now to update the file: click on the resource you want to update:

• Click on Manage:

• Use the Remove button to delete previous file:

then use Upload button to load current version

• When you have located the file, click on Update Resource at bottom of page
