You can [[https://www.qgis.org/en/site/forusers/download.html |download this software here.]] You should download the geolocated file from [[https://data.smartdublin.ie/data|smartdublin.ie/data]] ====== Using QGIS ====== ==== Import Data ==== Open QGIS and select "Add Vector Layer" {{ :public:1_import_data.png?600 |}} Note, if you want to convert a CSV file to a geolocated format, you should select "Add delimited text layer" Locate your data source: {{ :public:2_import_data.png?600 |}} "Add" then "Close" {{ :public:2a_import_data.png?600 |}} ==== To convert file ==== Right-click on file in "Layers" on bottom left: {{ :public:3_export.png?600 |}} Select format, in this case CSV: {{ :public:4_export_format.png?600 |}} Select the projection you want to use: {{ :public:5_select_layer.png?600 |}} If the one you want to use is not listed, use this button to add it: {{ :public:6_add_new_layer.png?600 |}} (Double click to add). You can use the various options to select the fields to export etc. To create the export file, fill in the filename and then click OK. The file will be (by default) in your "documents" folder.
